Its another fine day..no rain lately ever since it was raining like almost everyday this few weeks. Been staying home almost of the time entertaining myself infront of the t.v switching channels to find the perfect show to keep me company the whole days. As usual, things is always the same for me, not a difference in each of the days.. anyway, it was this day i found it hilarious with my lil' cousin Andrea, who never keep herself quiet the whole time unless she's sleeping that's the only time the house is in silent...as in silent night!!

I got to captured her using my handphone the other day, while trying to entertain baby Joshua as well as entertaining us..like i was forcing her to sing her head-off like she always did... ever since she got into school this year. Everyday, back from school she will have a new song to sing around, hopping, dancing and spining till she finally giving up!! hehe...

Seminar 24th & 25th October 2008 -St,Columba's Church Miri

Its been awhile i have not updated anything in my blog. Been busy with life after being an aunty to a very cute lil'nephew Joshua Lee. Life totally change ever since he was born.. cant really have my really nice sleep anymore with the crying that fills the morning as an alarm clock that never stopped ringing. Well, that surely cheers up the whole house even mom and dad will surely keeping themselves busy entertaining their first grandson.. especially dad who never keep quiet once hearing baby joshua crying having difficulites taking his sleep almost every night which having my sister headache hehe..well its her first time for being a mommy.. and im like her slaves..or should i said her maid..hahaha... totally insane but what the heck.. i myself being the first time aunty though hehehe...

Anyway, friday was the only time i got my time of my own.. was attending a church seminar in miri with mom and my aunty. We left home around two heading towards the church as the venue for the meeting point before leaving for miri. Nancy and her daughter came along with us for the one day...or should i considered as two days seminar at St.Columba Church Miri. We all left our church around two-thirty on friday.. Nancy as our driver and her daughter as our co-pilot hehe... we were using the church transportation. On our way to miri, we encountered a problem with the Custom regarding the car pass that we have to renew. Well, Brunei is kinda strict with the vehicle procedures considered the huge cases on Brunei car gone missing in Miri.. anyhow, we didnt have any authorities letter from the owner of the vehicle we were using and they need the proved but thanks to god we were release and was warned of this matter. Malaysia side was never a problem in this matter as long as you have all the necessary documents attached with the form you're free to drive brunei registered car to miri.

It was raining by the time we reached miri and headed towards the hotel we were to stayed at. Anyway, since Nancy was the one who booked the room for us we didnt even mind of the place. She did mentioned it was the "PARK HOTEL" , i thought it was "PARKCITY" considered as she was saying it in short-formed.. so i showed her the way to the hotel since i only know they is only one hotel with the "PARK" name mentioned. When we arrived at "PARKCITY" i when and asked for our reservation but sadly none of the name i mentioned was in their booking list. But luckily, since it was still friday it was still not packed with people checking in. So, i asked the reception if she have any room available for the night and she there is.. we checking in with two separated rooms. Mom, aunty and me shared a room together and the others shared in the other room for the night.

The seminar was totally awesome thought... the speaker was really cheerful eventhough there are times i fell sleepy..but its worth listening. ANyway... got to be off now..till then...wait for my next blog...

Boleh Minum Kah??? hehehehe

We are still in the month of fasting and yet a week to go for the raya festive.  Town was full of people doing their raya shopping.  Neways.. last week i when to an Indian Coffee shop with my aunty and a cousin of mine, we went  to Tapau the mee goreng and decided to have a seat while waiting for the mee goreng to be cooked.  Its weird thought, that the three of us have to wait and seat there like five minutes and none of the waitress bother to approach us.  The funny thing, are we supposed to call them to take our orders??? Nah...it never happen though unless the shop is packed with customers.  Anyway, it was weird to even only see the waitress just passed by without even asking if we made our orders yet, how lame can that be?? 

I called one of the Indian waiter and placed our orders, Just as we decide what to have, he replied me " BOLEH MINUM KAH??"- hehehe... so thats answered to why we were not being approach the first time..haha..funny..funny... when he asked me that question i was laughing out loud (LOL) hehe.. i said, Kenapa?? I told him.. Mau tengok saya punya IC (ID)?? haha..and he just smile back at me. 

This is the first time i have ever been asked this kind of question..hehe... funny though when you think it back...  but what the hack!! Im not muslim...and i can eat anytime,anywhere & anything..hehe.. Neways..i wanna wish all the muslim "SELAMAT HARI RAYA"

Made Of Honor

Finally, i got my clear dvd copy of "MADE OF HONOR", which i have been struggling to buy ever since it came out on the box-office in May. To be honest, i prefer this more than "My Best Friend Wedding". It is more into something romantic-comedi tingy. I even downloaded it to my ipod, well just in case im feeling bored stuck somewhere boring hehe.. Anyway, there's some parts where i did shed a tears, haha... guess im really a freak when it comes to the part where it touches my heart..  

Really im in love with this movie, i dont mind watching it over and over again like i always did with the other love movies i been  watching lately. Never get enough of it..im a total freak over love story. Anyhow, for those of you whom havent got the chance to see it grab it in store cause i guarantee you will like it.

The month of May is coming to the end, and Gawai celebration is just around the corner.  Everyone is counting for the days to finally come.  The most waited month in the Dayak calendar soon to be arriving, where families and relatives gather around to greet each other a wealth and properous year.  As for me, im not counting the days for it to arrived since i have missed out too much of gawai celebration in the previous year.. to be exact, its almost 15 years that we, family didnt get to celebrate it.  Not that we are trying to ignored or forget our culture but it seems thing have change alot nowadays.  No more experiencing the long hours of boat ride to the longhouse, watching people along the town area doing their last minute gawai shopping,meeting all the relatives..gosh how much i miss all those moments back then.  But most of all im missing the breezy wind, riding on the long boat back to the longhouse, those wonderful green natures along the narrow river..wonder when can i get the chance to be back to the longhouse again. erm.... 

Celebrating gawai in town is not as merrier as the one back in the Kampong, where you can get to meet up and greet each other.  You can just wonder around the long corridor which is basically known to us as the "ruai", to greet and enjoy the nature of being in a longhouse.  Mostly, u can see the mens laying down along the ruai, relaxing and enjoying their Nipah leaves cigar.. watching others passing by their ruai. Whereas the ladies, are busy preparing the well-known cakes or kuih which they called it, to name a few, mostly u can find the penjaram (a.k.a "Mexican Hats), Kuih sepit (a.K.a "Love Letter"), Sarang Semut (a.K.a "Net like"), Kuih Chap (a.k.a "flower like shapes") etc... i missed all those traditional cuisines as well, especially the pansuh (chicken or wild boar or even fish cooked in bamboos) salai (smoked fish/frog/wild boar) kasam , the most horrible but yet "i like" specialities i would never missed hehe..., its actually make of fish or wild boar where you stored in a jar or biscuit tin which is mixed with salt and rice.  erm...cant really describe how horrible the smell is, but when its cooked you just cant resist the taste of it especially when its "Kasam Ikan Tapah" wow.... hahaha.. mom owes consider me as a native person, who never resist in trying something oddful..I'm not that choosy when comes to this traditional food.. perhaps im a nature kind of person.  My mom, even describe me as an evil to the wild life hahaha... i even eat all sort of wild animal, to name a few... i do eat snake, those wild monkeys, those lizard (a.k.a Bayak), bats..haha.. oppsss.... dont dislike me for being too cruel on wild life.. its not my fault they taste so...god damn good! :)

Well... ill be celebrating a simple gawai here, though its far too different then the one you see in most longhouses.  But then, what can i say... things change alot nowadays.  Even our great grandmom is migrating to the city.  No more seeing the longhouse, no more seeing the other people enjoying the night eve of gawai.  Guess, this year would still be the same as the other years back then. A week to go..

Its been awhile i have not updating my blog here. Been pretty..pretty busy lately with the wedding preparation. I have done parts of my routine and yet there's alot more to be done and its a week more.. Gosh.. havent had enough sleep lately, and im noticing the black circle around my eyes..wowow...tats getting serious to me..lost my beauty sleep.hehe.. neways.. guess i need to have a rest before im getting sick and it would be even bad if im sick on the wedding day..haha hello..im not getting married hehehe..its my sister hhehe..well thats pretty much clear now.. dont mistaken it aite.. anyhow, got to head to bed..its late will continue my blog later...soon hopefully that if i still have the strength to post it here... nite..nite all..sweet dreamz.. zzZZzz...

Rough time!!

Its saturday and its a off-day for me. Had a rough time at work this week.. things when toally out of hand. Just two days ago, i had been struggling to get my work done and i accidentally deteled the most important folder. I got panic and was nearly fainted...i just couldnt breathe.. im seeing stars flashing around me.. wow... i never felt this way before, never in my life.. this is the very first! My hands were cold and i was sweating out of a sudden.. i just stood there thinking a way to get it resolve back but i just cant get it back... trying to retrieve it from the deteled item but it seems to be gone out of a sudden..the recycle bin was empty..gosh..all i did was to prayed that i got the folder back... as usual i rushed to my colleague pc and thank god once again..i still got a back-up for the folder...lucky me.. this is what i hate the most, having to panic out of a sudden, and the worst my portable hard-drive is just too senstive..i must be cautious next time or i might get even worst.

Anyhow, was having a tired time recently, work have been keeping me rushing here and there. Life have not going steady, since i got back from my trip. I dont bother to talked about all of that.. need time to get things settle before it get worst. At the moment, im still surviving to get things back to normal. Well, i got another two more months to go before my sister's wedding, and i still havent found the right shoe and dress for the occassion. Last week, we when for a photo shoot, since mom insist of having a photo shoot with my sister. Well, its the first wedding though for her children so why not go for it..had a family photo taken with my sister and her husband (my to-be brother in-law) in miri, it took us the whole day... was tiring though! ahah... family seems to be preparing for the big occassion and i so anxious about her big day.. just wonder how to greet them..since her hubby-to-be is of chinese origin..hehehe.. well it would be of two culture..never experience it. haha..this is the very first for my family! anyway.. im trying to asked my friends how would the culture be.. hehe.. well..cant wait for the day to come as if im the one who's getting married hehehe..

Well, chinese new year is like another 2wks from now.. and it would be another holiday.. i need a break..i do... too much thing been bothering me this month... i need a rest too... im just too tired!! better go for my leave hehe... neways..now i have got to signoff... wanna have a rest since its weekened and im just bored staying home doing nothing during weekened. Bet i just watched the dvd i bought..anyway..........till then...

Away for the weekened..a "BIRTHDAY TREAT "

Its a new chapter of my blog here. A New Year to begin with more blog to shared. Anyway.. just getting things back to normal. As usual..i was pretty busy lately with work. Life have been treating me quite ok last year but some parts where its a pain in the butt but in the end i managed to get it back to normal.

Neways, i was so anxious about my trip again back to kuching.. (never get bored of kuching), its like a second home to me (hopefully it will..soon!) and i havent pack my begs yet..wow thats sure totally insane of me..at this hour..i should have get things ready for my flight tomorrow. Hopefully i wont forget my passport haha.. that would really gonna make me even more insane..

Ill be spending my weekened in kuching since my birthday is like two more days from today. Want to have a nice weekened, relaxing my minds from the work load which have been pressuring me the past years..Im sure my friends are all anxious as well on seeing me. I just cant wait, to see all my girlfriends though i just meet them on my last trip in october. Well just hope ill be enjoying my birthday away day in kuching for the third time..hehe.. erm... (thinking..thinking pretty hard.. wonder what my love will be giving me for my birthday..hehehe)i cant wait to see him as well...

Anyway, i have got to end my blog here... i need to get ready my suitcase for my trip tomorrow or ill missed my flight hehehe ( sigh* i wont though haha) will get my blog updated again once im back from my trip in few days..till then..adios..

"Merry Christmas & Happy New Year"

Its been awhile since i last updated my blog here. Lately, i was pretty busy with work and can only manage to go through my friendster just to get updated on my friends list. Its nearly the end of the month and i still got lots of thing to think and handle. Hopefully its all done by the end of the month though. Life have been treating me not the way i wish it would be. Been going through some rough time lately, where i tend to ignoring someone. But i never wanted it to happen, it just happen in a sudden without me, doing it on purposed. Work load have given me the pressure and stress. Too much to handle and i ended stressing myself by the end of the day. Lucky me i still got the faith and courage to faced it on my own though its really difficult for me. Thank god for his courage on showing the path.

Christmas is like another few more days and i was also busy preparing for it. Last, week i managed to bake some cakes and make some biscuits. And today, a colleague gave me a cake for christmas which i havent got the time to taste it hehe..im pretty sure he's a really good baker, since he gave me two of his delicious yet marvellous cheese cake recipe. Neways, im plannig to bake a cheese cake for christmas as well.. im not really sure how it taste but previous i tried it like five times and it turns out to be something delicious and mouth watering hehe.. so that show it is delicious though im not good at decorating the cakes but im trying to make it taste nice instead for a change. Gosh..its been a really tiring month for me and i tend to feel each and everyday time flies so fast.. maybe its because it the end of the year..well, people said that though, not sure if its true?? anyhow, i still need to do some christmas shopping for gift, i only managed to get only one gift and i still need like ten more, well... got a pretty big erm..let say huge family..well, need to think of a gift!! This year christmas i kinda missed my cousin lenz.. she's in the UK this year and its her very first year to be away from home.. we do all missed her much, for without her around the house would be empty..not one teasing, no loud laugh from her.. well... that wont be long. Hopefully next year christmas she be home. cant wait though to see her.

I was hoping this year christmas i could spend it with someone special but too bad he have to work. but no worries..by next year ill be celebrating it with him. erm..... it would be a long weekened... and its raining all the time, just hope Brunei wont be flooded like Malaysia. Just pray that the rain will stopped!... and now im getting even anxious for the new year to come.. its like three weeks from now till my birthday which im planning to celebrate with me love..hehe.. i just cant wait! wonder what will i get for my birthday.. and by then i have a big day to handle and i need time to get it all done by mid of next year..hehehe.... anxious..anxious for the day...

Corrupted!! aiyooo...

Had a rough day today.. was totally tired and had alot of things to do at the office. Need to do some updating on the drawings and the others where busy moving around all the cabinets for the new workstation.

Just dont know why im having a bad day today.. was having a tummy ache and suddenly this afternoon my portable drive was corrupted and im lossing all my drawings in it! How can it happen when i was nearly completing the updating of drawings..so siao eh... aiya... i was panic just dont know what else to do... i stood there for awhile trying to breath when suddenly my mind is back to where i was.. i rush to my colleague P C and lucky me i have the backup on all the thousands of drawings! Gosh....i have been safe! thank god.. but the sad thing is i just have to start over again.. imagine it.. updating thousand of drawings all over again!! that would take me months! aiya....matilah me like this.. but then i was lucky as well..cause some of the drawing have been updated hehehe...thank god again!

That is why i hate using this stupid portable drive..ya, it is portable.. with 50GB..but once you mis-used it, you will lost everything! all those important things in it.. but i was lucky..partly lucky lah to have a back-up.. if not.. aduh.. i dont know what to do..and now i just have to tapau all my work home. Just hope my other portable drive wont have the same problem. aiya... so siao ah my day today! maybe its because im too tired..i dont think also the cause of it being corrupted.. im sure it is because of that stupid indian guy pendrive that have create the problem. Maybe his pendrive is affected by virus..eee... hope he will have the same problem also, hahaha...evil me eh!!Now i have to keep my anti-virus updated dont want it to happen again the next time..

Well.... im gonna have a pretty busy week.. i have to finish re-updating all the other drawings.. aiya... no hal lah hor..hope i can complete it before the dateline comes.. till then.. take care ya all...
