Waken by the heavy down poured of rain....

Was waken by the sound of heavy down poured of rain this morning and my handphone alarm keep on buzzing me to wake up. Isn't it nice to continue my sleep without even getting off the bed in a hurry just to get to work. Gosh...i just can't wait for the weekend to come which is like another one more day to go.




Moon sighting will be today evening for the month of Ramadan and hopefully it wouldn't be sighted so i can still have my long holiday till Monday. Just as i was checking my email this morning, an email from our admin came and a memo for the working hours during Ramadan was stated, and if the moon is not sighted by today, Monday will be a holiday for the whole office. So, its another good news. Don't think it would be sighted today since the weather is totally dark outside and can sense its gonna rain heavily throughout the whole day till evening i hope.



Today, i regain my strength to face the day ahead of me, my mood are back to normal and hopefully i don't have any moody mood over the weekend or else i might ruin the whole long weekend. Anyway, i'll be spending the long weekend at home and can't wait for the Ramadan food store to be open so i can buy those wonder malay's kuih for my hungry stomach which is roaring since i got to the office. Might as well i get myself some coffee to keep me awake till the days end. Need to be signing off for now, need to do my work which is piling up on the desk... Weekend here i come!!!! To all my Muslim friends and blog readers... Happy Fasting....

Moody!!

It's another day full of moody faces here... how can i ever live with this kind of surrounding. Damn this early morning Celine Dion song was playing on the radio, now that make me even more not in the mood to do my work. I need some medicine to cure this feeling am having for the past weeks, even the doctor would said i'm madly insane due to no prescription for the sickness am having at the moment.


Coffee would sure helped me to ease just a few bits and pieces of those odd feeling am having for sure. But why am i still entertaining myself with those mp3's am downloading, sad song in the morning, that sound pretty weird, i should have downloaded some heavy music instead of this love song. Well, at least those Westlife song tried to motivate me to stand on my own for the rest of my days. Hopefully i can survived till the end of the working hours and i just can't wait for weekend to be here again, i need some time of my own, away from work, away from those who hurt me alot and am trying to find the solution to a broken heart.

Will there still be "WE' in everything???

It's been awhile i have not updated my blog again, been busy with things and attending a friend wedding back in Kuching. Was having the blast and am glad she likes those gift i gave her. I still owe her just one more gift for her wedding which i didn't managed to give her since it didn't arrived on time for her wedding as promised. Just hope i can send it, personally over to her on my next trip back to Kuching which i myself wasn't sure when is the right time to be back. I got alot of other things to settle off before i can think of going back there again.




Wasn't in the mood lately, due to something which i can't handle it on my own. It keeps on bothering me.. no matter where i go it's always there to haunt me like someone histerically being possess by demon. I can't bared it on my own, the pain, the trouble it cause me. If i were to have a heart attack i would sure have it once that thing strike me back. It's such a pain, too much for me to handle and am trying to get it out, but there's no one willing to faced it with me. Where were all those, " If you jump, i jump thingy"



My days were so dark and cloudy lately, i'm lossing hope on everything. Will there gonna be "WE" in everything, only faith will have an answer to it..it will lead me to the way it was like before, before all this happen. I just have to wait patiently for the day to arrived. Not sure for how long and how soon, but no matter what i'll wait...

Monday Morning Crap!!

It's been awhile i have not logged in any of my entries here. Was busy lately with work and life. Had a very tiring day, havent had enough sleep and am in need of a break. Can't wait for the holiday am planning for in July and can't wait to attend my BBF wedding. Gosh need alot of planning now, and am still waiting for the time to arrived. Weekend was too tiring for me. Been doing the same thing over and over again.

Got to spend my time headed off across the border saturday afternoon with my parents and my cuzzie yut. Didn't managed to grab the opportunity to go shopping since we have to rush on things. Was actually sending mom to collect some of her stuffs in miri. I can only managed to grab a pair of shoe and some beauty products for my own. Even have to neglected Starbucks and McD which i have never did in my life, booohhoo..how sad!!. Everything was in a rush and thats all i can only get. But what the heck am still going next week with my brother, who suggested to bring me on his shopping spree to miri after pay day. I don't mind accompany him though as long as i can get what i wanted which i have been planning to get ever since. I need to get myself a new pairs of clothes to work and maybe will get another pair of shoes as well. Am still not happy since i have planned to get two pairs the other day. Nevermind there is still another time.

Neways, the boyfriend was texting me concerning the SLR last night, which he himself is planning to get as well, but not sure which model. I suggested,that he go for either Canon or Nikon. Will have to compared the price and the quality as well. He's into photography, well.. we are both into it for now but not sure which to get. WOuldn't go for the expensive one, as long as we are satisfy with the quality thats ok. He wanted to try the Canon EOS 1000D and i suggested he tried Nikon D80 or D90, but will have to see what he wants, after all he's the one paying for it and im the one using it hehehe..

Anyway... need to stepped off for now, will update on things soon, when i got the time to mingle and crapping on things. Before that i wanna wish everyone "HAPPY EASTER"

SMS warning!!!

Just this afternoon i received an sms through my Bmobile line stated that there will be heavy rain on the 4th February (that's tomorrow) till 7th February (Saturday). The sea level will be of 2.1 to 2.4 meter high. That sound dangerous to me. Just imagine as i,key-in my enteries here it is still raining outside, the weather is dark, its 4.42pm and it looked as it was around 6.30pm. Started around 10am today and it still on, not sure when will this rain stopped. Hope it won't be flooded again. It will be teribble to have this wet season around the early years..

Rain...rain go away!!!

I came to the office this morning to find the office was in a mess and wet. The tea lady were busy cleaning those messy and slippery floor after the flood last saturday morning which have been horrifying the resident here. Luckily nothing was ruin from the flood.

Was lucky to survive the after-math of the flooding saturday morning. Even to my surprise the housing area i was staying got flooded cause of the heavy rain since friday and it continue till the next morning. Never did i experienced this worst flood since i stayed here for the past 12 years. Everyone was busy digging those extra drainage to make the flow of water more smooth. The drainage was full with mud which was flowing from the highway just at the back of the housing area where all those landslide occured making it slippery and dangerous for road user. I felt pity for a family staying on lower ground around our area, they have to moved all their belongings to a higher place to prevent it from damaged by the mud water. The area around my neighbour was indeed high and only the main roads were flooded with milky like water which came from the hills slope from the highway behind our place. Even schools were shutdown on saturday and seria town was flooded starting from the anduki area going down towards seria and heading off to panaga area was covered with swampy dark water.

By the time im scrabbling here its started to rain heavily now. Wonder when will the rain ever stopped and show us some sunshine. We need the sun now, can't stand the wet and sloppy weather. Clothes are having this weird smell and its too annoying though.... * Singing...rain...rain..go away...come again another day!!!! There was a rumors saying it will rain till March...aiyoooo.... siao leh... Hopefully it will stopped soon.. just pray for it!! finger-cross *wink~ Anyway, i got to stopped for now... will shared some more entries soon.... tk care... for those car user...drive slowly... respect other road user as well....have fun! Well..its another boring weekend im having. Staying home as usual, doing the same old thing, going online 24/7 like most of the time which can be listed as one of my hobby at the moment.

Was going through some survey on SLR and was hoping to get one soon... but am still considering which one i should get, nikon D60, D80 or D90, erm.... thats really a tough decision to make, though i still need to survey on canon and sony since my Jegitz cuzzie suggest i should survey on them. Well, i should for now..hehe.. hoping to get one for me self.. am really too hilarious about taking pictures for now!!

New Year...a New Begining in the chapter of life...

Its been awhile i have not updated my blog here, been busy lately with the festive season and haven't got the time to log-on here. Anyway, before its too late (guess im not) i, wanna wished all readers to my blog a "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009".

Its a new year, a new life to faced ahead and perhaps a new beginning of 2009. As for my resolution this new year, guess im not sure what it was.. well.. things can change the moment you think you can make it but u can't.. so i guess i wont be sharing my new year resolution here, hehe..*wink..wink* Friends did asked me of my new year resolution, but i cant give them the right and perfect answered cause i, myself am not sure, can i or will i stick to it till the end of 2009?? The bonus questionaire, i'll have to faced when it comes to making resolution for the new year is perhaps let just straight to the point,people would say.. "GETTING MARRIED IS YOUR RESOLUTION?" haha... i wish!! nobody can predicts that if it's faith, rite?. Just wait and see how things goes.. can't make the decision, its all in god's hand..

It's a week before my birthday, being a twenty seven and feeling a year older...bbooohhooo...and im not sure wheather to celebrate it or not. Maybe this year it won't be the same as it was the previous years... not having the love one around won't make it a perfect birthday. I'm planning to celebrate it with a friends in kuching again, but not sure for this year.. will have to see how the situation is. Hopefully, i could make it thought... finger cross *wink.. but it won't be a harm to celebrate or not to celebrate...

Well... now its new year... and by july its a new beginning for a BBF of mine.. she's getting married and im still looking forward to attend for her big day... i need to get my materials for her wedding and im in search of a baju kurung or perhaps something fit for a malay wedding..aduh.... got like six months to go...hehe...how anxious i am of her wedding!! Anyhow... its still a long way to go, hehehe...still got time to think of a style thought!!

Not being the real me!!

Gosh, life isnt being fair enough for me.. Having a really bad day..hoping to shared but i just can't.. Kinda personal..need to get rid of this before its getting on my nerves.. Aiyoo, how i wish i could turn back to that day!! Small hearted (kecik hati) thats what im having for now.. I feel like screaming it all out, but i can't, wouldn't wanna make people think im insane!! Maybe i need a break.. Cry my headout would be the best thing to get rid of this feeling thats been haunting me the whole day.. YIKES, BITE ME!! Well, need to cool down for now.. Huhuhuhu i need my LOVE! ;-( chow!!

"Another Cinderella Story"

Its weekened again, time flies so fast and its the end of the month. Yikes... christmas is yet another few more weeks to go. Need to get things fixed up before the christmas carolling in afew weeks time. Anyway, its another boring stuff i'm doing during my weekened. Having to spend the saturday night at home watching the dvd i bought like last week(i think).. cant really remember when did i bought it..but what the heck... need to watched it while i got the time. I bought two dvd's but was wondering where did the other dvd's gone?? erm... must be somewhere in the living room i guess...

Neways, i was watching this new movie in the box-office called,"Another Cinderella Story",never get enough of the Cinderella fairytales..Honestly, this one is much more better then the previous cinderella movie played by "Hilary Duff". Love the role for this movie especially Mary (Selena Gomez) & Joey (Drew Seely), they both have the talent in dancing and singing. Even the soundtrack was really nice, I even have it downloaded to my ipod, hehe.. i can say this would be my third most favourite, in my movie list after "P/S I LOVE YOU & MADE OF HONOUR", will never get bored watching it over and over again, haha!! And guys, you all should listen to the soundtrack for this movie, i had mine like ten times playing on my ipod hehe.. that does show how really am hectic over this movie!! For those who haven't got the chance to watched, grab your copy now...

Miserable

Its time to make some updates on my bloggie... Anyway, just realised that my life was so miserable lately. Hates this feeling am having, nothing seems to be the way it was supposed to be. Staying home over the weekened almost all the times do make me feel insane and bored to death!! Can't hardly breathe with the atmosphere which is full of life hazard... Anyhow, i still have to deal with this miserable life im having and life must go on.

Last Monday, i attend an interview with a Methanol company and was having a huge butterflies in my stomach. Getting nervous is always the feeling im having when attending an interview. Hopefully, it was a successful one though,finger-cross for the job interview. Even if i dont get through, im still am glad that i got the chance to attend the interview.

Gosh, its weekened again and im still wondering what am i supposed to do. Doing the same thing like i always did for the weekened.. Surfing the net and hanging out on facebook, playing games, babysitting.... yikesss... life is too complicated for me to handle! Wonder when will this ever end. A friend told me i should appreciated those life im having, for each moment spend is like a money rolling into life. Erm.... dont really get what it means anyway.. but i really have to faced it eventhough its difficult to handle.

Anyway.. got to end this blog with a gud'morning, i guess....erm..its like 2.30am and im still quite a wake... Guess, this shows how deathly bored my life is for now...

Weekened is here again, and nothing seems to be changing. Its the end of the month of october and halloween is today. As for us here, halloween is not as happening as it is in the western countries, for here some people believe its against the religion of certain people. To be more specific, living in an islamic country things seem to be different. Its like everything is against the islamic religion, but what the heck.. even you got the permission to do so, it will never be the same as it was in other countries.

Lil'Andrea the entertainer

Its another fine day..no rain lately ever since it was raining like almost everyday this few weeks. Been staying home almost of the time entertaining myself infront of the t.v switching channels to find the perfect show to keep me company the whole days. As usual, things is always the same for me, not a difference in each of the days.. anyway, it was this day i found it hilarious with my lil' cousin Andrea, who never keep herself quiet the whole time unless she's sleeping that's the only time the house is in silent...as in silent night!!

I got to captured her using my handphone the other day, while trying to entertain baby Joshua as well as entertaining us..like i was forcing her to sing her head-off like she always did... ever since she got into school this year. Everyday, back from school she will have a new song to sing around, hopping, dancing and spining till she finally giving up!! hehe...

Seminar 24th & 25th October 2008 -St,Columba's Church Miri

Its been awhile i have not updated anything in my blog. Been busy with life after being an aunty to a very cute lil'nephew Joshua Lee. Life totally change ever since he was born.. cant really have my really nice sleep anymore with the crying that fills the morning as an alarm clock that never stopped ringing. Well, that surely cheers up the whole house even mom and dad will surely keeping themselves busy entertaining their first grandson.. especially dad who never keep quiet once hearing baby joshua crying having difficulites taking his sleep almost every night which having my sister headache hehe..well its her first time for being a mommy.. and im like her slaves..or should i said her maid..hahaha... totally insane but what the heck.. i myself being the first time aunty though hehehe...

Anyway, friday was the only time i got my time of my own.. was attending a church seminar in miri with mom and my aunty. We left home around two heading towards the church as the venue for the meeting point before leaving for miri. Nancy and her daughter came along with us for the one day...or should i considered as two days seminar at St.Columba Church Miri. We all left our church around two-thirty on friday.. Nancy as our driver and her daughter as our co-pilot hehe... we were using the church transportation. On our way to miri, we encountered a problem with the Custom regarding the car pass that we have to renew. Well, Brunei is kinda strict with the vehicle procedures considered the huge cases on Brunei car gone missing in Miri.. anyhow, we didnt have any authorities letter from the owner of the vehicle we were using and they need the proved but thanks to god we were release and was warned of this matter. Malaysia side was never a problem in this matter as long as you have all the necessary documents attached with the form you're free to drive brunei registered car to miri.

It was raining by the time we reached miri and headed towards the hotel we were to stayed at. Anyway, since Nancy was the one who booked the room for us we didnt even mind of the place. She did mentioned it was the "PARK HOTEL" , i thought it was "PARKCITY" considered as she was saying it in short-formed.. so i showed her the way to the hotel since i only know they is only one hotel with the "PARK" name mentioned. When we arrived at "PARKCITY" i when and asked for our reservation but sadly none of the name i mentioned was in their booking list. But luckily, since it was still friday it was still not packed with people checking in. So, i asked the reception if she have any room available for the night and she there is.. we checking in with two separated rooms. Mom, aunty and me shared a room together and the others shared in the other room for the night.

Boleh Minum Kah??? hehehehe

We are still in the month of fasting and yet a week to go for the raya festive.  Town was full of people doing their raya shopping.  Neways.. last week i when to an Indian Coffee shop with my aunty and a cousin of mine, we went  to Tapau the mee goreng and decided to have a seat while waiting for the mee goreng to be cooked.  Its weird thought, that the three of us have to wait and seat there like five minutes and none of the waitress bother to approach us.  The funny thing, are we supposed to call them to take our orders??? Nah...it never happen though unless the shop is packed with customers.  Anyway, it was weird to even only see the waitress just passed by without even asking if we made our orders yet, how lame can that be?? 

I called one of the Indian waiter and placed our orders, Just as we decide what to have, he replied me " BOLEH MINUM KAH??"- hehehe... so thats answered to why we were not being approach the first time..haha..funny..funny... when he asked me that question i was laughing out loud (LOL) hehe.. i said, Kenapa?? I told him.. Mau tengok saya punya IC (ID)?? haha..and he just smile back at me. 

This is the first time i have ever been asked this kind of question..hehe... funny though when you think it back...  but what the hack!! Im not muslim...and i can eat anytime,anywhere & anything..hehe.. Neways..i wanna wish all the muslim "SELAMAT HARI RAYA"

Made Of Honor

Finally, i got my clear dvd copy of "MADE OF HONOR", which i have been struggling to buy ever since it came out on the box-office in May. To be honest, i prefer this more than "My Best Friend Wedding". It is more into something romantic-comedi tingy. I even downloaded it to my ipod, well just in case im feeling bored stuck somewhere boring hehe.. Anyway, there's some parts where i did shed a tears, haha... guess im really a freak when it comes to the part where it touches my heart..  

Really im in love with this movie, i dont mind watching it over and over again like i always did with the other love movies i been  watching lately. Never get enough of it..im a total freak over love story. Anyhow, for those of you whom havent got the chance to see it grab it in store cause i guarantee you will like it. 

The Gawai Celebration

The month of May is coming to the end, and Gawai celebration is just around the corner.  Everyone is counting for the days to finally come.  The most waited month in the Dayak calendar soon to be arriving, where families and relatives gather around to greet each other a wealth and properous year.  As for me, im not counting the days for it to arrived since i have missed out too much of gawai celebration in the previous year.. to be exact, its almost 15 years that we, family didnt get to celebrate it.  Not that we are trying to ignored or forget our culture but it seems thing have change alot nowadays.  No more experiencing the long hours of boat ride to the longhouse, watching people along the town area doing their last minute gawai shopping,meeting all the relatives..gosh how much i miss all those moments back then.  But most of all im missing the breezy wind, riding on the long boat back to the longhouse, those wonderful green natures along the narrow river..wonder when can i get the chance to be back to the longhouse again. erm.... 

Celebrating gawai in town is not as merrier as the one back in the Kampong, where you can get to meet up and greet each other.  You can just wonder around the long corridor which is basically known to us as the "ruai", to greet and enjoy the nature of being in a longhouse.  Mostly, u can see the mens laying down along the ruai, relaxing and enjoying their Nipah leaves cigar.. watching others passing by their ruai. Whereas the ladies, are busy preparing the well-known cakes or kuih which they called it, to name a few, mostly u can find the penjaram (a.k.a "Mexican Hats), Kuih sepit (a.K.a "Love Letter"), Sarang Semut (a.K.a "Net like"), Kuih Chap (a.k.a "flower like shapes") etc... i missed all those traditional cuisines as well, especially the pansuh (chicken or wild boar or even fish cooked in bamboos) salai (smoked fish/frog/wild boar) kasam , the most horrible but yet "i like" specialities i would never missed hehe..., its actually make of fish or wild boar where you stored in a jar or biscuit tin which is mixed with salt and rice.  erm...cant really describe how horrible the smell is, but when its cooked you just cant resist the taste of it especially when its "Kasam Ikan Tapah" wow.... hahaha.. mom owes consider me as a native person, who never resist in trying something oddful..I'm not that choosy when comes to this traditional food.. perhaps im a nature kind of person.  My mom, even describe me as an evil to the wild life hahaha... i even eat all sort of wild animal, to name a few... i do eat snake, those wild monkeys, those lizard (a.k.a Bayak), bats..haha.. oppsss.... dont dislike me for being too cruel on wild life.. its not my fault they taste so...god damn good! :)

Well... ill be celebrating a simple gawai here, though its far too different then the one you see in most longhouses.  But then, what can i say... things change alot nowadays.  Even our great grandmom is migrating to the city.  No more seeing the longhouse, no more seeing the other people enjoying the night eve of gawai.  Guess, this year would still be the same as the other years back then.
